No Formatting In D2L Discussion Posts

Issue/Question

When I post in D2L discussion boards, all of my paragraphs are gone

Environment

• Desire 2 Learn (D2L)

Cause

HTML Editor is turned off

Resolution

1. Open D2L
2. Click your name in the upper right corner
3. Click Account Settings
4. Scroll to HTML Editor Settings
5. Remove the checkmark from Turn off rich text editor and view source
6. Click Save and Close
