Troubleshooting Analog Phone

Issue/Question

I have crackling audio with an analog phone line

Dial tone is present

Environment

• Analog phone line

Cause

Calling with an analog phone line results in crackling audio

Resolution

1. Power cycle the phone
2. Change power supplies for phone if possible
3. Provide name, number, building, and office to Facilities
