Connecting to Canon Microfilm Scanner

Issue/Question

My computer cannot find the microfilm scanner.

CapturePerfect software cannot find my device.

Environment

  • Canon Microfilm Scanner 300 (MS-300)
  • CapturePerfect

Cause

The microfilm scanner must be started before the computer is powered on to detect the SCSI connection

Resolution

  1. Shutdown computer
  2. Shutdown microfilm scanner
  3. Power on microfilm scanner
  4. Power on computer
  5. Open CapturePerfect
