Remembering Passwords in Google Chrome

Issue/Question

Google Chrome will not offer to save my usernames and passwords

Environment

  • Google Chrome

Cause

Multiple causes

  • Password autofill is disabled. 
  • The website has been marked as Never Save

Resolution

  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. Click
  3. Click Settings
  4. Click Autofill
  5. Click Passwords
  6. Click Offer to save passwords
    Note:     The slider will appear blue when this option is enabled
  7. Ensure that the website does not appear under Never Saved
    Note: If the website is listed under Never Save
         a. Click
  8. Restart Google Chrome
