Printer Not Printing Duplex

Issue/Question

I can only print duplex manually

Printer asks me to put the paper back in tray two and press OK

Environment

  • Printer

Cause

Printer driver is not set with the Duplexer installed

Resolution

  1. Click
  2. Type Control
  3. Click Control Panel
  4. Click Hardware and Sound
  5. Right-click Devices and Printers
  6. Click Open in new window
  7. Right-click the printer
  8. Click Printer Properties
  9. Click Device Settings
    Note    : If options are greyed out, click Change Properties under the General Tab
  10. Change Duplex Unit to Installed
  11. Click OK
  12. If you are still having issues, uninstall and reinstall printer drivers from the manufacturer's website
