Running a SQL Query Against Banner Data

Issue/Question

I need to run a SQL query against Banner data in one of the available environments

Environment

  • Banner, Banner TEST, Banner ODS

Resolution

  1. Open PL/SQL Developer 
  2. Log into PROD Banner, TEST Banner, Prod Banner ODS, or Test Banner ODS as appropriate
  3. Open a new SQL window
  4. Copy and paste the SQL query into the SQL window
  5. Run the query by pressing F8
  6. The results will be displayed in the window below the query
