Quarantine Folder Appearing in Outlook

Issue/Question

I have a folder in Outlook called Quarantine and I did not create it

Environment

• Outlook
• PhishER

Cause

New feature of PhishER created a folder

Resolution

• You will find a folder named Quarantine in your Outlook folder list
• This is a result of a new feature in the the Phishing detection system in use at USD
• Messages in that folder have been deemed malicious by University IT Security and are safe to delete
