Scanning Options using your Phone

1. Depending on the type of phone you have, below are a few options that will enable you to take a picture of your document and turn it into a PDF
   Note: Search and obtain these free apps on your phone, in the App Store 
   • Android available Apps
     • Microsoft Office Lens  (no ads)
     • Simple Scanner
     • Document Scanner – PDF Creator
   • Apple available Apps
     • Microsoft Office Lens  (no ads)
     • Photos to PDF Image converter
2. Once your document is saved as a PDF
   1. Email it to yourself
   2. Save the PDF to your desktop or another drive on your computer

Importing PDF in Xtender:

1. While in Banner Document, Click ADD
2. Click New Page
3. Click Import File
4. Click Append
5. Browse to the PDF you saved in step #2b of Scanning Options using your Phone
6. Click Open
7. You can now view the document in Xtender
8. Click New Document Icon, the piece of paper with an orange star
9. Enter the document number and type of document
10. Click Save
