Requesting Administrator Permission on Computer

Issue/Question

I need permission to install software on my computer

I need to install software on our lab computers but it does not allow me

Please provide the Admin access to user for lab PCs

Environment

  • USD computer
  • Windows

Cause

Cannot install software

Resolution

  1.  Please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
    1. Name
    2. Computer information or NI tag
    3. Description of the issue

  1. Install software as administrator or follow Making User Local Admininstrator in Windows
  2. For Mac follow, Making User Local Administrator on Mac
