    • Contractor installs blocking, TV mount on wall, conduit, power and network
    • AV installer installs TV, laptop connection and any cabling back to AV equipment rack
  • Typical TV: NEC E Series, Samsung Commercial Grade
    Note: American with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements are that the display may not protrude more than 4" from the wall unless the bottom of the display is at 80" or higher.

  • Typical mount: Chief model #RPAU
  • Network: 2 network
  • Power: 1 duplex outlet
  • Conduit: if hard ceiling - 1.25" to AV equipment rack
  • Contractor and AV installer scope of work
    • Contractor installs conduit, power, network and structure above ceiling for mount
      • If hard ceiling - contractor installs 1.5" National Standard Pipe Thread (NPT) pipe through ceiling and secures to structure
      • Pipe length is decided by ITS
    • AV installer installs projector mount, projector and any AV cabling back to AV equipment rack
  • Typical projector: Maxell MP-EU5002, Aspect Ratio 16:10
• Conference Table
  • Media well: power and room for coiled laptop connection cables
  • Floor box: 1 duplex power, network, space for AV cabling (see Slagle Hall room 104 for good example)
  • Power: at least 1 duplex outlet per media well
  • Network: 2 network (VOIP conference phone, Touch Panel controller)
  • Conduit: 1.25" AV conduit from floor box to AV equipment rack
