How do I install software on University computers?
Environment
Cause
Company Portal is an application where you can pick different software applications to install onto your University-owned computer.
Resolution
- Search for Company Portal in the Windows search bar
- Open Company Portal
- Login with your USD credentials
- Click Apps in the upper-left
- Choose the app you want to install
- Click the Install button
Company Portal is installed by default on on USD Windows computers if it is not installed on your Windows computer
- Open Microsoft Store:
- Open the Microsoft Store on your Windows 10 or 11 device
- Search for "Company Portal":
- In the search bar, type Company Portal
- Install the App:
- Select the app and click Get or Install. The app will download and install
- Launch the App:
- Open the Company Portal app
- Sign In:
- Use your organization's work or school account credentials to log in
