Accessing the FUPLOAD Spreadsheet

Issue/Question

Cannot get the FUPLOAD spreadsheet to populate with indexes

Environment

• Microsoft Excel FUPLOAD spreadsheet

Financial Services has a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that is provided to departments to generate FUPLOAD files that Financial Services can then push into Banner Finance

There is a tab in the spreadsheet named sql_import that contains a direct link to a SQL Server database containing Indexes and the Fund/Org/Programs the index represents

This data is used in the JV tab of the spreadsheet to VLOOKUP the values for Fund Org Program to the proper slots in the spreadsheet

The data in the sql_import tab AUTOPOPULATES on OPENING the spreadsheet; if it fails, it will keep the current data in the spreadsheet as of the time it was sent or last updated

If the user is not in a certain Active Directory group, the data refresh will not work

Cause

No access to the database of Banner Indexes

Resolution

1.  Please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
   1. Name of the user needing access
   2. Email address of the user
