Uploading and Scheduling Content in Scala Content Player

Issue/Question

How do I upload and schedule content in Scala?

Environment

• Scala Enterprise Content Manager

Cause

Need to update Athletics Hall of Fame Video Board, Concourse TVs, or ticket booth TVs.

Resolution

1. Log into the Scala Enterprise Content Manager portal
   Note: You need a user account to access Scala Enterprise Content Manager, if you need to request access see Requesting an Account in Scala Enterprise Content Manager
2. Upload the Media
   1. Click Media
   2. Click +New
   3. Select Media Upload
   4. Click Add
   5. Navigate to the files to upload
   6. Click the file name
   7. Click Open
   8. Click Upload
3. Add the content to desired Playlist
   1. Select Playlists
   2. Click the desired Playlist
   3. Click Add Media
   4. Find the Media you just uploaded and click on it
   5. Click Add & Close
   6. Click Save & Close
