Getting Printer Drum Low Error

We are getting a message when we print to our HP color printer that the “black drum is low”. Where is that and what do we need to do about it?

  • HP laser printer

Cause

Printer drum is low and needs to be replaced

Resolution

  1. Find the part number for the drum
    1. To locate the drum part number for an HP printer go to https://store.hp.com/us/en
    2. Click on Shop now below Ink & toner
    3. Enter the model number of the printer giving the error
    4. Scroll down to locate the drum model number
  2. Order a replacement drum by following Creating a Cart in SDezBuy
    Note: Printer supplies are purchased from the supplier innovative
  3. Follow the installation instructions that come with the drum
