Issue/Question
How do I use Meet Me numbers?
Environment
Cisco Voip Phones
Meet Me Numbers
Cause
Resolution
Contact department secretary for Meet Me Number reservation (maximum number of participants is 10)
If you are hosting the meeting you must use the Meet Me button on your phone to start the conference
Pick up your headset or handset (depending on the phone)
Select the softkey MeetMe on your Cisco VoIP phone
You will hear two beeps > Enter your MeetMe Number
Check the display on the phone for Connection message, there are no audio confirmations that conference has been joined
Other participants should now be able to join the conference
If you are participating, dial the Meet Me Number itself without pressing the Meet Me button
Note:
If all parties get a busy signal, no one has set it up as the host and someone will need to dial the number using the Meet Me button
