Cause

• Surface Pen needs to be paired
• How to check if Surface Pen is working

Resolution

1. Go to Settings by swiping from the right edge ot the screen.
2. Select Change PC settings
3. Tap PC and Devices
4. Click or tap Bluetooth
5. Hold down the top button on the Surface Pen for 5-10 seconds until the light in the middle of the pen starts to flash
   Note: if the pen does not flash, the pen may need a battery or replaced
6. When the pen appears in the list of Bluetooth devices, tap to Pair
