Requesting to Bypass Duo Authentication

Issue/Question

I do not have a phone or a security key for Duo. How do I access my USD resources?

Please remove the Duo authentication from my account

I do not want to have Duo

Environment

• Duo Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)
• Duo Mobile

Cause

USD policy requires MFA and it cannot be removed from your account

Resolution

1. USD supports multiple options for MFA even if you do not have a smartphone or tablet 
2. If you must temporarily bypass MFA, please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
   1. Name
   2. Phone Number
