Banner Security Groups and Screens in the Group

What Banner Security Groups exist, and which screens are in each group?

Environment

• Cognos

Cause

I want to know what Banner screens are in the Groups I have been assigned in Banner

Resolution

1. Log into Cognos
2. Run Banner Security Groups Classes Screens report
3. There are two tabs in the spreadsheet
   • Details of groups - gives a detailed listing of all the screens in the group along with whether the access is UPDATE or INQUIRY
   • Details of counts - gives a listing of just the group names and the number of screens in the group
4. Screens can be searched for in the first tab, yielding the groups the screens are in
5. This can be used with the second tab to determine how many screens are in each group
