Updating D2L Course Title with Multiple Sections

Issue/Question

An instructor is reporting that the D2L course title does not include all of the course section numbers

Environment

  • Desire2Learn (D2L)

Cause

A step was missed when mapping the courses together and the title was not updated 

Resolution

ITS STAFF ONLY

Service Desk:

  1. Log into D2L 
  2. Navigate to Course Homepage
  3. Select Edit Course
  4. Select Course offering Information 
  5. In Course Offering Name field, add missing course sections
    Note: Do not update the Course Offering Code as this will cause issues with the mapped sections
  6. Click Save
