Emails Are Being Delayed

Issue/Question

When someone sends me an email there is a delay

Environment

  • Microsoft Outlook

Resolution

  1. Were you connected to the Internet at the time of message was sent
  2. Do the emails in their sent items match up with the delivery to you
  3. Log into Outlook Web Access to see if it shows anything different 
  4. Restart your computer
  5. Please contact the Service Desk with the following information:
    1. The emails as attachments
    2. How delayed the emails were
