Zebra Label Printer is Not Printing

Zebra printer not working. Red flashing light on printer.

I added new labels to my Zebra printer and now I can't get it to work again

Cause

Transfer ribbon roll is out

Resolution

Replace transfer ribbon roll with new one

1. Turn off printer
2. Open printer cover
3. Remove old lower transfer ribbon roll and upper take up roll
4. Place new ribbon roll on lower supply spindle
5. Rotate roll until notches line up with left supply of supply hub and lock in
6. Place empty ribbon core, that came with new roll, on upper take up spindle.
7. Rotate until notches align and on left side and lock in
8. Pull transfer ribbon's leader off of the roll and attach it with the adhesive strip to the upper empty ribbon core - make sure aligned in the middle
9. Rotate the thumb wheel on the left side of the supply spindle until the ribbon is pulled tight against the print head
10. Verify the media, labels, are loaded and close the cover
11. Press the Feed button until a minimum of 4 inches of media comes out to remove slack, ribbon wrinkle and to align the ribbon on the spindles

Note: You cannot print to a remote computer, the label maker should be plugged in to the local computer
