Instructions

Official Transcripts 

  1. Transcript Request (Online)
    Note: USD shows as South Dakota Board of Regents in Pierre, SD when searched on Parchment
  2. Online transcript requests are fulfilled through Parchment. The quickest way to receive your official transcript is online through Parchment
    • Please contact Parchment’s live-chat feature if you are having trouble creating a Parchment account, logging in, or having trouble ordering your transcript
    • The live-chat is staffed from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. EST
  3. Please remember to sign the request form. Unsigned forms will not be processed
  4. Transcript Request Fees:
    • There is a fee of $10 per transcript requested online
    • Transcripts requested online require payment via credit/debit card
  5. Your transcript - an official copy of your educational record - may be ordered in person, by mail, fax or online. We cannot accept transcript request forms by email.
    • Official transcripts include all of your courses taken at any South Dakota Board of Regents institution, both undergraduate and graduate
    • Courses transferred from other institutions will appear on your transcript, as well as degrees awarded and honors received

Current Students

Note: This includes anyone with a current USD Account that has taken courses

  1. Log into Self Service 
  2. Click Student in the left column
  3. Below My Academic Information Click Student Main Menu
  4. Click My Academic Information
  5. Click Academic History/Courses and Grades
  6. Select Transcript Level
    • UG - Undergraduate
    • GR - Graduate
    • LA - Law
    • MD - Medical
    • All levels
  7. Click Submit

 Former Students

  1. Unofficial transcripts are no longer available to former students, follow Viewing Academic History to view semester by semester academic history
    Note: Only available to students who have been out of college six months and will be available for five years
    Note: If beyond five years Go to Ordering your Official Transcript
