Registration Steps:

1. Login to smartdevices.usd.edu using full email address first.last
2. You can get the smart devices SSID wifi password from this page. 
3. Click Add 
4. Enter Device name 
5. Enter mac address (format - xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx)
   • Finding MAC Address for Smart Devices Registration
   • Obtaining MAC Address on a Device
6. Enter Description (optional)
7. Click submit 
   Note: Ignore if the status shows as Pending after device registration
8. Verify that the device appears in the list of registered devices
9. Connect the registered device to the wired Ethernet port on the Access Point (AP)

Note: Ignore if the status shows as Pending after device registration

If you still have troubles connecting the device, please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 

1. Make and Model of device you're trying to connect
2. Screen shot or photo of the MAC address of your device

3. Residence Hall & Room number
