I want to access and customize Analytics Dashboards in Coyote Connections

Viewing student analytics and advising metrics

Customizing dashboard panels and analytics views

Environment

  • Coyote Connections

Resolution

Accessing Your Customizable Dashboard

  1. Click the dashboard icon  from the left-hand navigation menu dashboard icon (speedometer)
  2. Use the controls in the upper-right corner of a dashboard panel to relocate the panel, refresh the panel data, or modify the panel contents
  3. Click Settings to add additional panels to the dashboard
    Note: Common dashboard panels include Predicted Needed Support, Appointments Completed, Alerts Issued, and Students Enrolled in Upcoming Term
  4. Select a dashboard tile that includes a detail view to perform actions directly from the tile
    Note: Available actions may include messaging students or creating appointment summaries

Accessing Analytics Dashboards

  1. Click the analytics icon from the left-hand navigation menu analytics icon (bar graph)
  2. Select the desired analytics dashboard

Population Health Analytics

  • Use this dashboard to identify student populations that may need support, monitor intervention efforts, and assist with outreach planning and resource allocation

Historical Trend Analytics

  • Use this dashboard to review historical student success data and course performance trends. This dashboard can help identify patterns related to academic performance, student progression, and program outcomes

Activity Analytics

  • Use this dashboard to track student and staff activity and evaluate resource planning based on how time is being used
