Cause

An employee has a qualifying life event and would like to change their benefit offerings.

Resolution

  1. A Qualifying Life Event allows you to make mid-year changes to your benefits. All Qualifying Life Event change requests must be completed and submitted within 30 days of the event, which includes uploading appropriate documentation
  2. The entire life event process will take place through Employee Space

  • Legal Separation
  • Birth of a Child- Related article
  • Legal Guardianship
  • Marriage
  • Death of a Spouse or Dependent
  • Medicare/Medicaid Eligibility
  • Tobacco Status Change
  • Overage Dependent
  • Newly Eligible Dependent or Employee
  • Life Insurance Add/Drop Beneficiaries
  • Dependent/Employee Gains Eligibility under another plan
