Problems using Outlook

Issue/Question

Outlook closing when sending or deleting emails

Outlook will not send items.  I also cannot delete anything

Errors have been detected in the file C:\users\first.last\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\First.Last@usd.edu.ost.

Environment

• Outlook 2013
• Outlook 2016
• Outlook 365

Resolution

1. Uninstall Office and install the latest version of Office 365
2. Delete Outlook .ost data file
   1. Close Outlook
   2. Open File Explorer
   3. Paste %localappdata%\Microsoft\outlook into the Address Bar
   4. Press Enter
   5. Find the .ost file that the error message reported, and delete it
   6. Start Outlook
3. Recreate Outlook Profile
