Cause

Microsoft Workplace Discount Program for Office 365 is a cloud-based discounted subscription service that allows you to easily create and securely share your documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with all the premium apps you know and trust.

Resolution

Note: The Microsoft Workplace Discount Program does not include the Windows operating system

  1. Microsoft Workplace Discount Program
    1. Sign up -
      1. Visit the Microsoft Workplace Discount Program
      2. Enter your university email address
      3. Click Get Started button.
      4. A confirmation email will be sent with a link that will authenticate your eligibility
    2. Sign in -
      1. Provide your personal Microsoft account email address, allowing you to view the discounts on products available based on USD’s Workplace Discount Program benefit. 
        Note: if you receive a message that Microsoft account doesn't exist click Create One!
    3. Shop -
      1. Your purchase is processed and completed in the Microsoft Store and you can install Office 365 on your personal devices
