Computer Labs

Overview

The University of South Dakota has more than 45 Computer Labs.  All labs offer standard software, while some offer specialized software to support specific curriculum.

  • Public Labs that are open to all enrolled students are in I D Weeks Library
    • There are two main computer areas in the Academic Commons:
      • 1st floor East Side - used for athletic study: PCs, printers
      • 1st floor West Side - PCs and iMacs, printers, Multifunction copier
    • Various PCs on 2nd and 3rd floor

  • 24 Instructional/Classroom Labs with computers that have special software to support teaching and learning
     
  • 15 Departmental Labs that are dedicated to students enrolled in specific majors or who require accommodations
