OneDrive

Overview

Microsoft OneDrive provides users with 1TB of cloud storage. OneDrive is the primary location for users to store their files. OneDrive can be used on Macs, PCs, iOS, and other devices.  Login to OneDrive with your first.lastname@usd.edu.

Benefits
  • OneDrive keeps your files safe in the event your computer breaks or is misplaced. Access your files from anywhere you have an Internet connect.
  • Files can be shared with any user you choose, whether or not they are affiliated with the University of South Dakota.
  • Files are stored securely. OneDrive complies with FERPA and HIPAA regulations.

Cost

OneDrive is included as part of your Microsoft 365 subscription, which is provided at no cost.

Policies

Students, faculty, and staff are responsible for complying with university policies and South Dakota Board of Regents policies to protect university data. Do not share student records, protected health information, or other sensitive data with unauthorized individuals.
