Attempting to assign faculty member to a section in Banner - "not a professor" error message shown

Cause

This issue is the result of a missing Faculty assignment on SIAINST (Instructor screen) in Banner

Resolution

  1. Check for the existence of SIAINST record for the faculty member attempting to be assigned to course sections - Check Faculty Status in Banner
