Purchasing Event Reader and Card Swipe

Purchasing an event reader and or iValidate licenses

  • MRD5
  • iPad

Cause

I would like to purchase an iPad, MRD5 card reader and iValidate license to swipe cards for events on campus 

Resolution

  1. Event readers can be checked out from the Service Desk
  2.  If you would like to purchase one for your department please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
    1. How you will be using the device?
    2. Are there specific profiles (or event names) that need to be loaded onto the device
    3. Index number to be charged for hardware and software license purchase?
    4. Are the events that you want to track located only on-campus or off-campus locations?
    5. Can the events be attended by any USD registered student?
    6. Will your events be recurring or mostly adhoc events?
