Macro Enabled Files Not Working

Issue/Question

Macro enabled files are not working on my computer

SECURITY RISK Microsoft has blocked macros from running because the source of this file is untrusted.

Environment

• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Office 365

Resolution

Note: Microsoft Office 365 automatically blocks Macros from the internet or other network storage. Macro enabled files on the Network Share (X Drive) must be copied to your computer before they will run. More information regarding this change can be found here
Note: Microsoft has provided steps to take to allow VBA macros to run in files that you trust

• Macro enabled files are not supported by USD ITS
• ITS does not prevent their use, but we do not support them
  Note: If Windows Defender is blocking the use of your Macro file, follow Software Being Blocked by Windows Defender
• Please contact the supplier of the file for assistance
