How do I restart a register
Environment
- Touch Dynamic QK10 Point of Sale (POS) Register
Resolution
Shutdown
- Login to POS with Admin Cashier ID and Pin
- Press Make A Selection
- Press Manager Functions
- Press Exit to Shell
- Press Yes
- Press Shutdown POS
- Enter your Admin Cashier ID and Pin
- Press Shutdown POS
- Press Yes
- Wait a few seconds after POS shuts off
- Press Power Switch to turn POS back on
Rebooting
- Login to POS with Admin Cashier ID and Pin
- Press Make A Selection
- Press Manager Functions
- Press Exit to Shell
- Press Yes
- Press Shutdown POS
- Enter your Admin Cashier ID and Pin
- Press Reboot POS
- Press Yes
Best Practices on Day of Event
- Go through Shutdown POS process
- 10-15 minutes before doors open log in as cashier
