Getting An Application Error When Starting Camera Software

Issue/Question

We are unable to get the camera software to work. I got an Application error.
     Dpp4Main.exe - Application Error  The exception unknown software exception (0xe0434352) occured in the application at location 0x00007FFF1617CF19.

 

Environment

  • Windows 10
  • EOS Webcam

Cause

Corrupt files on storage drive

Resolution

  1. Press 
  2. Type cmd
  3. Select Run as administrator
  4. Type SFC /scannow
  5. Press Enter
  6. After finished restart the computer and run the app to test it
