How do I install Google Chrome?

Environment

  • Microsoft Windows
  • macOS

Resolution

Installing

  1. Go to https://www.google.com/chrome/
  2. Click Download Chrome
  3. Click Accept and Install
  4. Save the ChromeSetup.exe installer file
  5. Navigate to your Downloads folder
  6. Double click on ChromeSetup.exe
  7. When the installation finishes, open up Google Chrome

Updating

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Click on the More  icon in the top right
  3. Click Help
  4. Click About Google Chrome
  5. Click Update Google Chrome
    Note: If you do not see this button, you are on the latest version
  6. Click Relaunch
