What is the layout tool in Google Blogger?

Answer

The next key menu item is layout. On this page you have the option to add, remove, and edit gadgets on your blog. You can also click and drag to rearrange gadgets.

You can edit a pre-existing gadget by clicking Edit or create new ones, by clicking Add a Gadget. 

Gadgets can include: 

  • Basic textbox and title headings 
  • Images
  • Links to other sites
  • Search boxes 
  • Social media connections.

Simply click Add a gadget and the page will appear with many gadget options. 

Then click the specific gadget you would like to add and it will appear on your blog.


In order to re-arrange a gadget, you just need to select which gadget you would like to move and click and drag it to the desired spot. Once you have the layout you want in place you can click the Preview or Save button, located on the bottom right hand corner of the page.
