Requesting Remote Access for Computer

Issue/Question

I need access to a remote computer, such as a lab station or workroom computer

Environment

  • Windows 10
  • Remote computer on campus

Cause

User is not a member of Remote Desktop Users

Resolution

1. Submit a ticket with the NIxxxxx tag and location of the computer and request to be added to the Remote Desktop Users group
           Note: This is typically for remote access to workroom laboratory machines that need software monitoring
