Missing Person Contact Information

Issue/Question

Do any of our university/regental systems store a student's confidential contact info in relation to the Clery Act Missing Person reporting requirement?

This is a contact separate from their emergency contact, but may be the same person at the student’s choosing

Resolution

  1. Students living in on-campus housing are asked to provide emergency contact information for this purpose.  The information is stored in the StarRez housing system.
