Installing Notepad++

I have a new computer and need Notepad installed

Environment

  • Window 10
  • University-owned computer

Cause

Application was not installed by default

Resolution

  1. Open Software Center
    1. Click 
    2. Type Software center
    3. Press Enter 
  2. Click NotePad++
  3. Click Install
  4. Click OK
  5. Select Language
  6. Click Next
  7. Click I Agree
  8. Click Next
  9. Click Next
  10. Click Install
  11. Click Finish
  12. Ok to install update if prompted
