How to set up a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) conference phone

Environment

  • VoIP conference phone
  • USD conference rooms

Cause

First time set up

Resolution

  1. Connect an ethernet cable to the backside of the conference phone
  2. Connect the other end of the ethernet cable to an open port labeled VoIP
  3. Place calls
    Note: If making a long distance call you may need a Forced Authorization Code (FAC)
