Issue/Question

Does Mogli create lead records?

Environment

  • Mogli
  • Salesforce

Cause

Collect new leads through phone number on email signatures, college applications, in-person/webinar recruitment events.

Resolution

  1. Advertise the Mogli gateway on recruitment materials
  2. Student texts the word COYOTE to any of the Mogli gateway numbers
  3. Mogli form displays with the following questions
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email
    • Opt-In preferences
  4. A new lead is created in Salesforce from the completed form if they did not already exist. 

Note:  If the student does not text COYOTE, a text will appear but there will be no lead created.  In that case, create a lead in Salesforce, attach the phone number to the lead and text the applicant to get name, email information.
