How do I import a video file into Panopto?

Can I import an MP4 file to Panopto?

Environment

Cause

Students need access to video not recorded in Panopto

Resolution

1. Login to Panopto
2. Click Create
3. Click Upload media
4. Click in search box next to Add files to
5. Select folder to add file(s) to
   Note: If video is for med school, place video in My Folder and request the file be copied to the med school folder
6. Drag and drop video file to upload
   Note: Most video formats can be uploaded. Uploading and processing can take several minutes
