Updating Phone Number in Self Service for Students

Issue/Question

How do I change my phone number if it is incorrect?
How do I update my Cell Phone number?
Where can I find if my phone number is correct?

Environment

Resolution

  1. Log into myUSD Portal 
  2. Below Quick Links click REG Registration Self Service
  3. Click Register for Classes
  4. Click  in the upper left corner
  5. Click Banner
  6. Click Personal Information
  7. Click Update Addresses and Phones
  8. Under Student Permanent Address
    1. Click Primary to update your main Phone number
    2. Under the Phone Type column, select Student Permanent in the dropdown and add your phone number.
      Note: This should be your everyday cell phone number, this number will receive text messages from Coyote Connections
    3. To add an alternative phone number, parent, home, office, etc., go to subsequent rows and select appropriate phone types (e.g. Parent/Guardian, Temporary, Cell, etc.), then add the appropriate phone number
  9. Click Submit at the bottom of the page
