Disable Lower Your Voice Alert

Why am I getting lower your voice alert on my phone

Environment

• Cisco VoIP phone 

Cause

By default, the Cisco 8851 telephone will alert you when it thinks you are talking too loud.

Resolution

1. On your phone Press
2. Press Settings
3. Press Lower your voice
   Note: You will need to scroll toward the bottom of the list
4. Press button below Off
5. Press Ok on the pop-up window
