Installing ENVI+IDL Software

ITS STAFF ONLY

Note: The user must have their own license for the software. We do not provide the license at the University.

1. Download the software from the L3Harris Download and License center
2. Download ENVI 5.5.2 for Windows
3. Run envi552-win.exe
4. Click Next
5. Click Next
6. Click Next
7. Click Next
8. Check  Advanced
9. Click Next
10. Click Install
    Note: You may have to restart the computer
11. Click Yes
12. Click Yes
13. Open Harris License Administrator
14. Select Activate Local License
15. Enter the License Code
16. Click Activate
17. Click Close
18. Open ENVI 5.5 to verify it is working
