Issues Connecting to DYMO Label Printer

Issue/Question

We are currently having trouble connecting our DYMO LabelWriter to two different computers.

My label printer app is not opening properly. I’ve tried several different things, but I’m thinking it may need to be uninstalled and re-installed. 

Environment

  • Microsoft Windows 10
  • DYMO Label Printer

Cause

 

Resolution

  1. Make sure the paper is loaded correctly
  2. Click in the Search Box next to
  3. Type Check for updates
  4. Click Check for updates
  5. Repeat steps 1 through 3until it says You're up to date
  6. Click in the Search Box next to
  7. Type Device Manager
  8. Select Device Manager
  9. Click the on the Device you need to update
  10. Right Click the Device and Select Update Driver Software
  11. If you are not able to find updates or if the updates do not work, please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
    1. Name of the label printer
    2. Where it is located
