Scan to Email not Working

Issue/Question

Scan to email is slow to send scans to an individual's email accounts.

The copy machine Toshiba is not working when scanning to email, giving an error message "Network Initializing." 

Can't set a password on Scan to Email

Environment

  • Multi-function Copier
  • Windows

Resolution

Note: Scan to Email feature will be available for Toshiba Copiers only

  1. Check for emails in Junk Mail folder
    1. If emails are there, Copy copier email address to Safelist
  2. Reduce number of originals if scanning a large number of items at on time.
  3. Please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
    1. Location of multi-function copier (building and room)
    2. Any error messages
    3. Date and time of the issue
