Requesting Voicemail Feature Be Removed From Phone Line

Issue/Question

We would like the voicemail feature removed from a line

Environment

• Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
• Voicemail

Cause

Faculty/Staff associated with phone number is no longer employed at USD and the voicemail needs to be out of service until it is reassigned

Change in time needed for voicemail

Resolution

1.  Please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
   1. Name on phone
   2. Phone number

Note: Once completed, if you wish for callers to receive a message about the phone number no longer being in service you may unplug the phone
