Requesting Access to view video in Panopto
I received an E-mail with the following message: [Panopto] Request: username
Cannot view files in Panopto
Permission required to access video
Currently Listed as Viewer but needs Faculty Access
Environment
Cause
Cannot locate or view Panopto recording
Resolution
- Go to Panopto
- Select Correct Login Option (Either USD Login or D2L -- do not choose Panopto)
Note: Select D2L if this is for a class that is in D2L
Note: Select USD Login if this is for Med School or something outside of D2L
Note: Med school recordings are not listed if using Panopto or D2L login
- Click Sign in
- Sign in with your USD email address if using USD Login, or D2L user name if using D2L login
- If files cannot be viewed after logging in please contact the Service Desk with the following information:
- Full name
- Location
- Folder or class you need to access
