Skype is not working and it is asking for a user with administrative privileges

Cause

Skype software was updated due to a Windows update

Resolution

1. Skype for Business Online retired on July 31, 2021
2. We encourage Skype for Business Online customers to start using Teams as their communications and collaboration service in Microsoft 365
